Casals Mediterrani Rojo is the only vermouth made with the ancestral Catalan variety Selma, recovered by the Torres family in Penedès. A red vermouth with Mediterranean accents and great aromatic intensity, the result of artisanal maceration and a blend inspired by the sea breeze and coastal sun.

Uses and Pairing

Created by the Miguel Torres distillery in Penedès, Casals is the first vermouth to incorporate the Selma variety and expresses the Mediterranean in every sip. Made from a secret family recipe —from Pepa and Juan Casals— recovered more than 40 years ago, it pays homage to the pre-phylloxera wine-growing tradition of the region.
