Goyesco Ámbar – Amontillado Vermouth – 70 cl

Product Description

Designed by Bodegas Delgado Zuleta, Goyesco Ámbar is the world's first amber vermouth, made from amontillado wines —the traditional Jerez from Sanlúcar— which have been blended and enriched with botanicals inspired by the flora of the Doñana surroundings. The result is a vermouth full of character, challenging the most demanding palates.

Key Features

Vermouth type: Amber vermouth
Wine base: Selection of amontillados from the Zuleta and Monteagudo wineries, rescued from century-old palomino soleras, providing structure, notes of dried fruits, and elegant complexity
Botanicals used: Separate infusion of natural extracts such as rosemary, marjoram, wormwood, gentian, sage, bitter orange peel, and vanilla, inspired by the wild vegetation of Doñana
Production method: Maceration of botanicals in amontillados, followed by resting for at least 6 months in seasoned casks, to round off harmony and elegance
Alcohol content: 17% vol.
Color: Brilliant copper, with a unique amber hue in the vermouth segment
Aroma: Spicy and almond notes alongside noble woods, creating a complex and unique aromatic structure
Taste: Intense and balanced; on the palate, toasted notes, dried fruits, a delicate bitterness typical of vermouth, with a clean finish towards hazelnut notes
Texture: Medium-bodied with a silky and persistent finish, enhancing its wine and artisan origin
Packaging: 70cl Bordeaux bottle with cork stopper, sober and elegant image, faithful to its Jerez heritage (cork head)
Production: Artisanal, based on century-old solera and criadera techniques, combined with a botanical selection inspired by the natural Andalusian environment.

Uses and Pairing

It is presented as an ideal aperitif and an excellent accompaniment to cured cheeses, strong blue cheeses, and cured meats. It also shines in classic cocktails thanks to its complexity and warmth (try it in an Old Fashioned with a final touch of orange).

Authenticity and Origin

Since 1744, Delgado Zuleta has cultivated the art of amontillados in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Goyesco Ámbar preserves this tradition, blending the history of Jerez with botanical innovation to create a vermouth that transcends categories and territories.
