Tasting notes
It presents an attractive golden blonde color, with a natural, dense and very persistent white foam. On the nose it is clean and balanced, with floral aromas, spicy notes and a delicately malty background. On the palate it displays great complexity: a smooth start, a full body, a fine and elegant bitterness, and a long, dry and harmonious finish. The use of hops at different stages of brewing provides depth and an exemplary sense of balance.
Pairing and serving
Ideal with aged cheeses, white meats, Belgian cuisine dishes, fatty fish or mild spiced preparations. Also perfect to enjoy alone, in peace. Serve between 8 and 10 °C, in a Trappist glass.
Westmalle Tripel is not just a beer: it is the origin of a style. Precise, complex and timeless, it remains the absolute benchmark of what a tripel should be.
